Nostalgia for old technology
 

After getting a vastly superior PC for Christmas...I had a pause.

My old comp looked small and dusty sitting next to it's new replacement.

I have to admit it made me a bit sad.I had good times for 6 years
with the old girl.

I sometimes wax nostalgic over my first mac with it's tiny little screen:

I don't feel the same way about the Commadore 64 that preceded it nor about any of my subsequent macs or PCs though.

I *REALLY* miss having high speed internet though. I moved out to the country about 5 years ago and have suffered with dialup until recently when my suffering eased only slightly when I upgraded to satellite broadband.

Good luck with the new comp. I'm sure it will win your heart in no time. :)

I miss the Kroz series of PC games (I think I had Castle and Kingdom on DOS).

They were fun...
