just be nice when everyone is watching (much like a gym after New Years) the Royals would actually inspire so that everyone doesn't just quit by May 1st like every year since forever

That would be funny and pertinent if this team didn't have a current several decades long streak of sucking turds.

In fact that is probably the best analogy for the Royals and Royals fans over the past 20 years:

Every year they are like that New Year's Resolution to lose weight and spend time at the gym...you pledge to watch and support and after you start out watching 10 of the first 15 games and they are 5-10 you say **** it...just like you do with the gym after that first two weeks and your new show starts back up and you're like "I'll just skip today" and before you know it you're paying $30 a month to go to a gym that you haven't been to in 12 weeks.

We love us some offseason in KC.

A losing streak to start the year isn't great. I don't necessarily trust the mental fortitude of this locker room.
