Until the 22nd. I have a week and 2 weekends to do whatever I want without having any money!

I apologize that this thread has nothing to do with banners, billboards, fake concussions, first round QB's, GM's playing coach, fans revolting, the dreamy Brady Quinn, newspaper ads, Jason Whitlock, national media coverage, local media coverage, blackouts, paper bags as head gear, spending or not spending money on the Chiefs, or Cassel/Pioli resumes... BUT I'M JUST HAPPY ENOUGH THAT I DON'T CARE!

Have you ever been so burnt out at work that you'd rather take out a family of four with a semi-automatic weapon from the rooftops as they pass by then go back? That's me! But now I'm on vacation!

Give me suggestions on what to do with my time for the next 9 days. Chugging a gallon of anti-freeze and crashing into a burning aids tree are already on my to do list.

I do plan to do some cleaning. A razor hasn't touched my face in years and that's not going to change due to vacation.

Lost my mom suddenly in 96. Wish I had spent a little more time with her. This sounds like a GREAT option, one that both of you would enjoy. You could still get out and do a few things while you were there and have a few meals and conversations with mom. Go for it dude!!

It might sound gay but I love spending time with my mom. She's pretty much my hero. She's retired but she works part time at a discount store just for extra money... and because she's not a sit around the house type.

We talk and cook together and I help her with things around the house. It's kind of like being a kid again and doing what mom says and I like it.

I've decided that if I ever have to move out of my current house, that there's just going to be an electrical "incident" that causes it to burn to the ground. I figure dealing with insurance adjusters would be far less painful than trying to pack and move all my crap.

Well crap, your location confused me because I thought remembered driving through there when we went to visit a friend of my mom's in Stratton, CO years ago. So I looked at a map, and it appears that we actually went through Norton, KS, not Horton. So I guess you're right, no one has ever been there.

It's full of rednecks who drive their 4 wheel drives or 4 wheelers to a different field each weekend to have a bonfire, drink beer, get roudy and wake up wondering which way to go to get to their truck. In other words... my peeps.

I feel your pain. I'm self employed, have a house project going on, a pregnant wife, my father in law is sick, my dad is sick, my disabled daughter had a major surgery a couple months ago we are still dealing with, but she is smiling and laughing again which is awesome, and I'm tired.
