Harbaugh made the right choice. The 49ers aren't going to the Super Bowl but at least they have a QB with amazing potential and they can develop over the offseason.

They didn't go to the Super Bowl though because of Smith. He played like the game manager he is against the Giants. He's not elite. From now until we are dead only franchise QBs will be in the Super Bowl. It'll be the same this year, and next year and next year, and so on. Kap isn't elite yet, but he has big upside. They aren't going to the Super Bowl no matter how good their D is.
