So far, by DAY ONE, we have:
- Cameras in the showers, the better to see people reacting to the Gatorade-colored 'drinking' water
- All kinds of hotel nightmares, including strangers in the bedrooms, mystery locks, and tandem toilets
- Missing manhole covers
- A yogurt blockade
- An injured skier hauled off to hospital because of the horrible track
- German Olympians in rainbow outfits, and a Pussy Riot-themed snowboard
- A stray dog wandering into the opening ceremonies, despite the city-wide dog extermination program
- A malfunction in the lighting making one of the Rings disappear
- A hijacked plane, intending to get to Sochi
- The Black Widow, somewhere loose out there

This is going to be a magical two weeks.
