I don't think his contract is up, he's just retiring. We have to trade for his contract unless he can talk the falcon's into releasing him so he can try one more year with a contender

Not in the beginning of his career he really worked on that part of his game with apt intentions.

Definitely.

Even then its hard to put his hands above Rice or C Carter.
Those guys never missed catchable balls.

You must have caught him on a good day because that wasn't my experience or the other half dozen or so people I know that have met him.

I remember his rookie year when he dropped EVERYTHING and he sucked at running routes. They thought he might not make it. Talk about a complete turnaround and a stellar career.

You never know what a rookie will become..........

I have met him several times and watched him closely on my many visits to River Falls and my impression of Tony is that he does not like to be around or bothered by the typical fan. My kids wanted his autograph every year so we would go to the cafeteria to try and catch him but Tony would often sneak in and out of the side entrance to avoid the fans.
All the other players and coaches would mingle and sign autographs if requested and were just generally friendly. Gonzalez was never talkative or friendly.

DT was just a bit before my time. I'll even go so far as to say Tony G was the best athlete I've seen on a team I support. #2 would go to Carlos Beltran, and there's a steep drop off from there.

Carlos Beltran is not that great of a baseball player.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. He was pretty OK, but he was enabled mostly by one of the best O-lines in NFL history. Lucky him, but lucky nonetheless.

Dude your highness is showing. Sure he's a shell of what he used to be but that was a long, long time ago.

Good luck in retirement.
