You can restructure guys, naturally let guys leave, Dunta for sure wont be back, they don't have max draft picks to worry about signing.

I believe that Chase Daniel will be gone next year, which will open up another three mil.

They should get Albert signed to a longer deal that will be more cap friendly with more guaranteed money.

And, furthermore, its WAY too early to be talking about NEXT SEASON.

This isn't Cleveland for Christ's sakes.

I forgot about Albert. He needs to be a priority. Even with an AC sprain he's easily been the best OL on the team.

Anyway I disagree with you. Sure Flowers is a top 20 corner but a pass rush always trumps a secondary. We already have that. You can always find Tracy Porters of thr world to fill in for a couplenof yeara and do a decent job.

This offense has a lot of holes. The interior line needs to be addressed, the tight end position, WR's, and you need to develop a QB.

I never bitched about letting Carr go he was/is an overrated player who was overpaid by Dallas.

Dunta Robinson is 3.3 mill and Chase Daniel is 1.4 mill in cap savings.

really?
nope he should stay for 2 more years unless we get a 1st or third

still close to the top of the pass rush game

Its that way because of the rules which put the CB's at a disadvantage. The best way to stop a QB is with a great pass rush. Again you're set outside with Cooper/Smith.

I'm saying if you have cap issues and can get a high pick for a corner you do it.

I would be interested in seeing the Jets defensive stats this year compared to when they had Revis. I feel as though my theory might be right.

I'm just saying he is the only guy who we could get anything for that would result in substantial cap savings.

There's is NO way Flowers will be traded. We've seen them play well without him for a short time. You can do that sometimes. But over time it would kill us. No way to trading him

KcMizzou 10-16-2013 10:07 PM

Hell no, you crazy?

Uhhhh. how about just a restructure. He is probably the most underrated player in football right now. Yes, he got defensive player of the week, but Houston has gotten most of the pub, and lets not kid ourselves, Hali has been the best CHIEFS defensive player all year.

And that's saying something because guys like DJ, HOUSTON, POE, DEVITO, BERRY, have been playing their best ball of their careers.

Hali is that important to this team.

They go hand in hand. They really do. I believe the pass rush is essential to the secondary, but having three quality corners in this league to be a dominant defense is not only a must, but its a luxury.

You don't give that up I don't believe.

Especially when you have wes welker in your division.
