1976 Game 5 ALCS Royals ve Yankees, ESPN Classic Now

Fun stuff. the way I like to remember the Royals.

I'd rather remember the Royals from 1985, but this is good too...

And (as I've posted a hundred times previously on this board) Al Cowens was SAFE at 2B on that force out in the 9th.

As far as I'm concerned, the game isn't over. Lace em up, MF'ers.

Tomorrow they will be showing the 1987 Game 7 between the Cards and the Twins.

Dont they realize that Royals fans (the few left) are only steps away from the edge of a bridge?

Like pouring gasoline on a fire for god's sake!

And Cowens in RF sted of McRae catches Chambliss' HR in the bottom of the 9th. :harumph:

The Royals got plenty of aid from the Umps in that ALCS. They should have lost. The BJs were stacked that year.

Its amazing to think the Royals were down 3 games to 1 against both the Blue Jays and Cards.

I happen to think organized crime must have been involved that year.
No way that Royals team beats the BJs or the Cards.
