SI What a joke!!!!!!!!

Might make it to the hof STFU

Walter Jones, Alan Faneca, Jonathan Ogden, Willie Roaf, Will Shields -- Multiple all-star choices along the offensive line. Jones is the smoothest, as a pass blocker. Which one (or ones) get anointed will depend on the mood of the selectors, plus who these candidates are up against.

Salisbury said Will Shields was a shoe-in for first ballot HOF.

That is terrible story. Completely pointless..

If you don't like Manning, fine. But if you believe he doesn't play to win, then you are a dumbass.

And he will win a SB, if the Colts ever field a D while he has the weapons on offense.

Although I am do not think Priest is a shoe in, but if he is going to mention Tomlinson and Portis, Holmes better damn well be in the discussion.

Dr. Z is a complete tool, so I don't really care about any of his opinions.

But I think Priest needs to stay healthy, have another couple of great seasons, and possibly a SB appearence to get any HOF consideration.

Father time is not in Priest favor. Unfortunatly, he didnt start to become "great" until later in his career. Portis and Tomlinson were great from the start. Even then, who knows if they will stay 100% healthy and productive later on??? If Terrell Davis never makes it in with 2 SB rings, i doubt Priest will either.

alpha_omega 08-05-2005 08:39 PM

Dr. Z should be nominated for the sportswriters Hall of Shame...his buddy Peter King too!

The thing is, in spite of Davis 2000 yard season, Priest has more career yards on fewer carries, and more TDs.

He also has almost twice as many receptions, for more than twice the yardage.

A couple more good seasons for Priest could put him over 10,000 yards and 100 TDs.
Those would be HOF numbers.

Priest also owns a spot in the NFL Record Books for single-season TD's. If he got to 10K and 100, he'd be in.

Chiefs_Mike_Topeka 08-05-2005 09:31 PM

I predict Priest will get to 100 TD's this year. As well as hit the 9000 yard mark. So Priest could realistically make 10,000 yards and 120 TD's within the next 2 seasons. Hopefully he will get another Super Bowl this year, one in which he is a big contributor.
