I continue to believe that this all started when they left Damien with Tyreek's mother.

Thank you for the link, Mr. Fax.

I take that as fairly good news. This court hearing is about the safety of the child but nothing about charges against either parent.

Photo shows Hill and Espinal walking into court together, presumably with the lawyer. So they’re on the same page evidently.

This means news should be coming to some extent tonight, yes?

A united front is good news.

This does seem like an Omen.

Yes I understand Roger’s incompetent leadership. Talib allegedly shot himself and nothing. Smoke weed get weeks. I think his system of punishment is just spinning a wheel.

Is Brooke Pryor on the scene?

No but she posted another story relating to this

A letter shows the NFL sought police records of child abuse complaints involving Chiefs player Tyreek Hill. In response, police provided one report. A second report would be made two days later. So who the hell's kid is it then? I can't keep up with these out of wedlock issues.

We’re still waiting for more news so we can get the facts. Stay tuned.

Guess my question is this - is he legally the father to begin with? I'm not being facetious. If he's not, they would be taking custody from the mom, not Tyreek.

It could be good news ...

It appears to be some sort of intermediate intervention system designed to establish the severity of any potential threat to the child's well-being. Of course, those are words that mean essentially nothing, really.

My guess is that, if there's evidence of actual abuse that can be attributed to an individual, the LEOs can take over. If there are other sufficient reasons to believe that the child's long-term interests are in jeopardy, child services can step in. In the absence of those concerns, it seems like family counseling might be recommended.

I also don't know how the system is constructed. Is it a single, family-court judge? A panel of "experts"? A target and a box of darts? Who knows?

The child is his biologically. The child resides with Crystal and Tyreek. Crystal and Tyreek were engaged and she's pregnant with his twins.

What are we talking about here?
