It's just going to take one block for them to really be like, 'OK, you know what? Let's take the chance and let you go out there and get it done.' Kickoff return, I wouldn't mind getting back there. I'm in it to win."

Vikings special teams coordinator Mike Priefer says he has asked coach Leslie Frazier about the idea often, but Frazier shoots it down. So it's a long shot. Then again ...

"We would show him exactly where the return is supposed to hit and let him do his magic," Priefer said. "There's absolutely an opportunity for him to go back there, I would think, in a crucial situation."

Peterson's role on special teams probably will be minimal or non-existent. But it would be so cool to see him returning a kick late in the fourth quarter with a game on the line. Peterson isn't worried about the pounding he has taken over the last month. Heck, he has delivered more punishment than he has taken.

"My body feels great," Peterson said. "I could play for 12 more games if I had to. Seriously."

After Peterson's knee injury last season, we never imagined he'd be playing this week. We're not doubting Peterson's ability to do just about anything at this stage.

Dudes an effing beast.

Harvin out for the season will hurt big time this week.

I actually believe him when he says he could play for another 12 games if he had to. The guy's a ****ing phenom.

If I was forced to choose to tackle him or die, I'd have to give it serious thought.

Anyone that believes this dude just came back from a torn ACL in 8 months, only to lead the league in rushing AND get only 8 yards away from the All Time Rushing Record, is smoking crack.

FTR, I think EVERYTHING should be legal. It's ****ing dumb to ban substances that can help PROFESSIONAL athletes recover more quickly.

I have yet to see ( and this is also due to my lack of research recently ala the past 4 years) a significant correlation in significant health related issues and TRT and HGH. I admit I haven't viewed any current peer reviewed studies on the health issues ( %s, significance, aliments, etc.)

I do know that TRT is a significant topic in MMA and is not approved for nearly all cases in Olympic and most professional sports.

Personally, I'd legalize HGH and TRT for all athletes. However, there isn't a large study for TRT's negative affects that I'm aware of. Anabolic steroids can be dangerous, however using them solely to rehab from an injury doesn't provide the health risk as consistent use does IIRC.
