SI: Contract talks with LJ and Gonzo have stalled
 

This is from SI's rumors and news yesterday morning, I didn't see it posted anywhere. I don't know how accurate it is, SI put it as their top little news blip. They apparently got this from NFL.com but I couldn't find where... but I didn't look very hard. I know Gonzo is going to be a FA, I guess contract extension talks with LJ aren't going well either...

It's just a worthless Adam Schefter story. "Say, the Chiefs haven't re-signed Gonzalez or LJ yet, I'll pretend like that's breaking news and write about it".

LJ isn't going anywhere for at LEAST one year.

If it comes down to it, franchise Tony this year, trade him for picks, and pay up for Larry.

The future in KC isn't bright.....especially considering Gonzalez doesn't have that many years left, I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted out of here.

As far as I'm concerned we can trade Gonzo. The team that wins the SB this year and the ones have won it over the past 30 did not have TG. Franchise and get a number 1 for him.

You actually get 2 #1's if you designate him that way...but no team would give that up for a TE.

It is a two way street, they have hime over a barrel as well. He likes to be in the spotlight too much to set out IMO.
