Wasn't Kiffin the one who misused Berry his senior year and caused him to slow up his production compared to his sophomore and junior seasons?

One positive about Kiffin...I think he'd instantly make Eric Berry a player worthy of his Pro Bowl selection by returning him to the role he played at Tennessee.

If that's the case, and Reid doesn't like any of the QBs at #1.....then I could see them taking someone like Moore out of Texas A&M to play DE.

He may not be the best choice, but he is a defensive innovator and he did create one of the greatest defensive schemes in the NFL for the time. I would like to see that mentality on defense again. Attacking from the DL.

We all saw Eric Berry in college. If we could get THAT on the field in KC, Kiffin is worth it.

As long as we don't try to move BOTH Hali and Houston to DE, I'll keep an open mind. I just don't want to see teams pounding us with the run every week.

After listening to folks over the weekend and looking at a lot of the chatter about front office and coaching staff candidates, I get the feeling they're going to try and build a defense the way Seattle has done it.

That wouldn't be the end of the world.

I get that Kiffin wouldn't be operating the Tampa 2 that much, but that's not what concerns me. I REALLY didn't want to switch back to the 4-3, and now that looks like it will be almost necessary.
