Maybe they know better than the fans.

Most of them want to hold on to this nostalgic notion that they were instrumental in their teams success. It's understandable why former Chiefs would want to diminish the importance of the QB in today's NFL because they never played with one.

Hell, just listen to Darren Sharper and Heath Evans, or Willie McGinest. The first thing out of their mouths is "boy their QB isn't very good". Why? Because they're wearing rings because of a stud QB.

Alot of the former players think the o-line is alot more important than it really is.

When asked about Cassel, the first thing Eddie Kennison says is "offensive line isn't very good".

Same for Trent Green, Len Dawson, Herm Edwards, Priest Holmes, and every other former player I've heard on the radio.

Has Eric Winston cried about this in the locker room yet?

I've heard this.

Why is it okay to trash the OL, and not Cassel?

Probably because they all know he's a ****ing giant pussy and feel like trashing him would be like kicking a legless cat...

Pearson is a douche pretty much.

I'm sure this whole team would be different under Manning. A real leader that can back it up.

"Peyton, what gives you the right to, in the middle of filming a one-time-shot Papa John's pizza commercial with Papa John himself, promise customers 1 million more free pizzas than was originally agreed upon?"

He really came off bad in that commercial. The poor pizza guy kept trying to correct him, and Manning wouldn't accept it. He blew millions of dollars of someone else's money through his inability to admit his error.

He's selling pizzas.

No, but I did notice the crappy quality in the pizza he sells.

CaliforniaChief 11-21-2012 07:27 PM

Is there anything Peyton Manning doesn't sell?

I thought he would have been a better spokesman for Jack-In-The-Box.

Manning is a modern day Robin Hood. He was punishing the owner for refusing to set up health care for the workers.
