I agree. I think they do have a trade partner. Say they trade down with the Bills. And the draft goes like this:
1. Bills-Geno Smith
2. Jags-Dion Jordan
3. Raiders-Shariff Floyd
4. Eagles-Luke Joeckel
5. Lions-Dee Milliner
6. Browns-Ziggy Ansah
7. Cards-Eric Fischer
8. Chiefs-???

Who would you take in this situation?

Use common sense, and hope Dorsey and Reid are too. I don't think we take a tackle. Albert will start at left and a FA or player on the roster will be right. If they don't trade out, I think we're going DL.

Subpar prospect? Compared to who, luck? You want to say geno won't pan out fine. Saying he is a sub par prospect is wrong. He shown enough ability to show he has good potential. In arguing against strong geno support you have, yourself, resorted to an over the top statement.

I don't like it - TBH. I've seen sir slip a lot in action quite a bit - he had some sprinkled in decent appearances, but he's a gimmick, mostly. I wouln't say he isn't capable though. Just hasn't been as advertised thus far.

For some reason, I get the feeling that Barkley is the guy they really want at QB, and they know he can be had in a trade-down
