I'm too old and crippled to move drum stuff anymore, so it kinda puts me out of business (that I'm used to) so I had to think of something to earn me some beer money.

I have vast electrical/electronics experience and some education, and have been an afficiando (if I spelled it right) of the sound of the tube amps that the zillions of guitar players I have worked with over the decades have drug out.

Half my life ago I wanted to assemble the test/repair equipment and start making those amps not only work, but put the "coon toon" on them by finding their sweet spot and making them sing. At the time, I was too busy drumming to mess with it.

These days, the only thing I can do is sit on my ass and watch TV. So I figured I'd just build me a couple coffee table-level benches, get a couple couches from the thrift store, move the TV into the unused front room with the test equipment I've been assembling, and get to work.

I am hoping that I have found a way to make money while I'm sitting on my ass watching TV. Stay tuned.
