"It was supposed to be a deep post, but they took it away," Grbac said. "All I had was the outlet."

Now first of all, Grbac should have thrown it away. We've discussed or will discuss this ad nauseum. I still support Elvis but that was a big mistake.

However, looking beyond that, WHAT THE $%^& WERE WE DOING RUNNING A PLAY WERE THERE WERE ONLY TWO POSSIBLE OPTIONS, AND ONE OF THE OPTIONS, OUR BEST RECIEVER, THE "OUTLET", WASN'T IN THE END ZONE?

I swear, if we had two time outs, Jimmy would have called two draws to Donnell Bennett...

I stopped watching the game closely after a while but if I'm not mistaking, those 2 calls were the only plays we saw Bennet and they were the exact same plays?!?!

My head hurts. I'm going to bed.

Bennett had 3 carries for 2 yards with a long of 2.<BR>

Otter,

Bennett got the ball another time. It was 3rd and 2 after a sustained drive by the Chiefs. He was slow to hit the hole (what's new) and was tripped up behind the LOS.

I'm not sure it's the offensive coordinator's fault.

I may be wrong, but I think earlier in the season they decided to let Elvis call all the plays during the 2-minute drill.

Regardless of who called the play, he should have heaved that ball out of the end zone.

Of course that's easy for me to say sitting in the comfort of my living room.

Idahojim. I remember hearing he was calling the 2-minute plays also. But I don't know if that was just experimental or not at the time.
