I don't tend to like slapstick, toilet humor, "dumb" comedy. I like dark comedy, cerebral comedy, farce... Some of the best in my collection: Strangelove, The Odd Couple, A Fish Called Wanda, Groundhog Day, Fargo, This is Spinal Tap, Bringing Up Baby, Wedding Crashers, Best in Show, Office Space...

I don't know that I'd say Wedding Crashers is on a more cerebral level than Anchorman.

Thats cool, i like some of those....mainly Wanda, and i usually dont "get" the British type of humor like Python.

Comedy is extremely subjective. I love Farrel, and Mike Myers, and even alot of Sandler.

Im actually looking forward to this and taking my Kids. They dont know too much about the Muppets. Ive heard its a throwback to the 70's and 80's movies.

Very subjective. To your point, I only have liked Farrell in Stranger than Fiction and Everything Must Go; I don't think I've ever liked anything Myers was in; and the only Sandler comedy I've liked was The Wedding Singer.

Every now and then, one will bust the trend. For instance, I think Airplane! is one of the funniest around.

Airplane still makes me roll. Available on Netflix instant!

I wish ZAZ would make another film.

Airplane! is literally the only slapstick movie I can think of that I enjoy. Love that movie.

I consider Caddyshack to be the funniest movie I've ever seen.

I liked it. I wish it would have gone a little deeper. Still very good.

Some of the Chris Cornell stuff had me wishing there was a similar Soundgarden doc.

oh and I think Step Brothers was one of the better comedies in a while.

Bio : Adam is a 27 year old writer of radio programs and is diagnosed with a rare form of spinal cancer. With the help of his best friend, his mother, and a young therapist at the cancer center, Adam learns what and who the most important things in his life are. based on a true story

My thought :

Wow, what an incredible piece of film this was to watch. It was gut wrenching sad at times and had me in tears laughing at others. You get to see an entire different side of Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt just gives an amazing performance, completely nailed it. And Anna Kendrick is probably the hottest woman ever. Seriously, give this film a chance and youll be glad you did.
