Yes. Not all of the board was smart enough back then to realize the importance of the QB position.

Stafford's head isn't in the game a lot. He was a party animal in college. Great arm, but he's more like Cutler than he is Elway at this point.

Bradford, Newton, Stafford?

Nothing relevant really. You were just firmly against drafting him while I argued otherwise. I'm neither for or against any QB this draft for the record don't know enough about them outside some light reading in mock drafts.

I'm painfully aware of the Chiefs however.

I'm probably in the minority but I think Wilson will move ahead of Smith and we will draft him. I wouldn't mind Smith though I like him a lot. Just don't be surprised if Wilson is our pick.

Does he have leadership skills? Will he work hard, or will he sign his fat contract and become complacent?

I've seen some highlights and he can throw and move. I just don't know about his character.

not sure, but he may be a cornball brotha.

I'm still onboard despite his less than stellar first half performance.

He's a better PROSPECT than Newton and Russell Wilson were - of course we have the benefit of hindsight.

He's probably on par with Bradford.

Bradford's pretty terrible. I hope to hell that Geno is a LOT better than Bradford.

I called Stafford cutler before that draft.

Well to be fair, he sucked in Sandy Eggo. His yards per attempt were worse than Cassel's worst season.

Payton and Brees seem to have some kind of symbiotic relationship...

I thought he's played well considering the elements.

I think Geno demonstrated a lot more football IQ than Bradford ever did. Speaking about their college careers, that is.

Sorry, I meant as a PROSPECT.

The criticisms, especially, are similar.

Me too but this its what cracks me up: everyone was blowing Bradford when he came out, but since Luck and RGIII came out everyone says you only take a Luck or Manning with the first pick. It's truly ridiculous.
