God Bless Johnny Cash
Today is his birthday.
The man in black. Never be another one. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/eJlN9jdQFSc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
That is bad ass!
|
I remember at Arrowhead the Sunday after he passed they played some of his songs. It was kind of moving
|
Johnny crossed over to real rock like no other country artist before or since.
Its between him and Hank Sr. as to who is most responsible for rock and roll from the country side... either way, there is NO loser in that contest. |
RIP Mr. Cash and thank you for the music.
|
So many to choose from.

Cash and Lenny Dawson were my boyhood heroes.
Hell they still are. |
Get a chance, check out The Johnny Cash Project. It's an awesome site
|
Fond of his music. Although I wouldn't call myself a hardcore fan.

2 of the men I admire the most were born on this day, JC and my son.

Hard rock/hard Gospel... this guy didn't just sing spirituals because they made money, he felt them. |
