Nnamdi
I've got a buddy who is a huge Eagles fan and was telling me earlier that there is a good chance that Nnamdi will be released because of his cap hit and that Philly doesn't feel as if a 32 year old highly paid CB is worth the trouble with Chip remaking the team. IF he does get cut, would he be someone we would want? I doubt someone of his reputation would get less than 8 mil a year, but with Cassel and Jackson's cap hit likely being reduced, would he be a smart signing, or would just using the draft or cheaper younger CB in FA to obtain our other starter be the way to go?

He's done.
He cares more about acting and modeling than football. Always has. The difference is now that he's getting older it's starting to show because he used get by with being naturally gifted but as you get older you gotta work harder. His passion was never football.
Even if he is done, wouldn't he be an upgrade over what we currently have? How would you prefer we fix our gaping hole at CB2?
Hopefully we learned something from Ty Law.

Sign him to play LT and move Albert to guard.

I could understand and argument for Cary Williams if he becomes available but he's going to (and rightly so) desire as much, if not more money than Flowers. |
no to this turd

Do we want another ex-Oakland retread with mileage on him? Wasn't Stanford Route enough of that experiment?
Only if he comes cheap which he won't.
I'm open to the idea of getting our #2 CB in FA but not on this guy. 32? He'd be like a 1, 2 year stop gap at most.
Get someone younger or draft your guy relatively high. |
I'd take him at the right price...
Veteran Minimum? Sure. Anything above that? **** no.
Sign this guy, trade berry for a 2nd, draft LT, move up to take Klein and sign alex smith profit
