Wellbourne to Return?
I didn't see this posted, but on 810 this morning, I heard Herm talk about John Wellbourne's eventual return to the team. This would be a boost, wouldn't it?

If he's in shape and can pee clear in a cup, then yes, it is.

I thought retirement did solve the problem of a suspension. Ricky Williams retired to avoid a suspension. When he returned to the NFL, he still had to serve his suspension. So, is Wellbourn not actually retired? Is he serving his suspension now? Would he play LT or RT?

I don't know if it'll make much of a difference. He can't play LT can he? Sampson is pretty well settled at RT imo.

As Basileus said he'd be good depth plus obviously knows the system. I just wish Crampson would get the sand outta his vaj , i thought he looked very good at dinvr but he seems to be made of glass. A big, white Michael Bennett.

I'm sure he'd have to serve a suspension, but can he practice with the team in order to get back into game shape, and refamiliarize(word?) himself with the offens while he is serving it?
|
He's not "officially" retired. He never turned in his papers. As far as I know, he's currently "suspended," so he can come back once he's served his time.
