Going to the Orioles vs Pirates on Jun 14th at Camden Yards. I love that place..

Much better than the Nationals Park

It just dawned on me that I haven't been to a game in Baltimore since 1996. I knew it had been awhile, but damn.

You think? Camden is nice but so is Nationals Park.

I was there last year, should catch another one sometime this summer.

How 'bout them O's, hon?

They'll be out of it by July but I'm enjoying it now!

Two immediate things I hate about Nats Park: when you go to the food area and buy food, there is no where to sit. They have 25 tables and 20 are in the reserved picnic area. I hate dragging food back to my seat-it's such a mess.

Also, I like to order a mixed drink and they charge $12 for a shot of Ketel one with club soda. I get a free pour drink for $8 in the club level and there is plenty of places to sit and eat at Camden Yards.

In addition, there's NOTHING outside Nats Park prior to a game to hang out-Camden Yards got plenty of bars

Camden Yards has the all you can eat section....that's all win.

And you call yourself an Orioles fan. Meh.

They're 0-6 when I show up. Look at all the winning they've done in my absence!

The Royals lost the first 12 games I ever went to and that was in their glory days. You suck as a fan.

I haven't been able to give a shit about the Orioles since Ripken retired. I love Camden Yards though. Beautiful ballpark.

I do, actually. I'll try to come up with some sorry ass excuses. Maybe tomorrow.

Over the years I've probably been to 75 Royals games and they've easily lost 65 of them. They'd be on a 7 game winning streak and I'd stop it, then they'd win the next 4. Glory days or not I'm the game killer.

He was absolutely worthless in Atlanta. Likely more of the same in Baltimore.

I would be happy to meet any fellow CP'ers at Camden Yards for a few drinks and a game...it's an easy ride for me and I usually see 2-3 a year there

Just how awesome would it be if Brian Roberts were to make it all the way back from those concussions? He seems to be playing well in his AAA rehab, and the Orioles need to do something with him by Tuesday.

You know, this guy's legend is gonna be damn hard to live up to once he does return.

That's true and since he's going to be rusty he'll likely start slow. Royals fans aren't just bullshitting though when we say he's one of the few catchers who can truly change a game from behind the plate. His debut last year was so impressive it made us all pretty horny. From the way he calls a game/handles pitchers to that quick release on his machine gun arm... baserunners beware. he'll pick you off any base. His bat was a pleaseant surprise last year and having that back would really be icing on the cake. He's special.
