Jared Odrick

I would absolutely give up a 3rd rounder for this guy. He is the impact 3-4 DE that we have been missing and he would come very cheap financially to replace Jackson and Dorsey.

If you have to trade good, young players because of your scheme you shouldn't be a coach in the NFL.

gochiefss 02-08-2013 09:47 PM

He'd be a good piece to add

BossChief 02-08-2013 09:51 PM

Id give up a fourth.

BlackHelicopters 02-08-2013 09:52 PM

5th or 6th.

The Bad Guy 02-08-2013 09:53 PM

a 3rd? Get ****ing lost. I'd give up a 5th at best.

Why?

He is a good player.

Because they've lost all leverage. Plus, who gives up a third for a 5 tech?

philfree 02-08-2013 10:02 PM

Maybe they'll just cut him.

BossChief 02-08-2013 10:05 PM

I guess I'd rather give up a 4th, but I wouldn't be too mad if they decided to give up a 3rd for a good, 25 year old defensive linemen that would be a good fit for us.

Better than rolling the dice on a draft pick, JMO.

The Packers have a couple DL they might jettison, too.

Personally, with the lack of depth and need for starters at QB, CB, Safety and ILB, spending a third on a five tech would be the worst decision the Chiefs could make this offseason.

As proven year after year, those guys are a dime a dozen and can be found on the cheap.

Pioli, because of his selections of Seymour, Warren and Jackson have caused Chiefs fans to over value the position.

You'd like to imagine that the bold would make people realize what you're arguing in your post.

We-he-hellll... it's not very often impact players are available for third round picks. And he can play two positions simultaneously? The cap savings is giving me a semi, ooohyeah

milkman 02-08-2013 10:25 PM

I'd give up a Subway sandwich.
