I don't think they were booing her. That's what I thought at first, but some of the other contestants, including Miss Mexico (the hometown favorite) at one point, were on the receiving end of the same noise. Between all the simultaneous yays, ohs, ooohs and ahhhhhs, the crowd noises at these things can sound kinda strange. It could have been boos, but I don't think so.
