My wife is making a fancy lemon chicken dish that has potatoes in it, and we're also having peas. She made a homemade carrot cake for dessert.

Yeah, it was our nod to the Easter Bunny and Spring. She let me make the call over pound cake and german chocolate cupcakes. If cheesecake was in the mix, it would've been harder, though.

Made these for an appy tonight. Pam seared scallops with a butter garlic sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.

It was my first time making them. Turned out very good. Still have some things that can be fixed.

The wife's working tonight. I'm grilling on my new grill - just basic hamburgers, but I'm upping the ante with some homemade bacon.

I call them southwest salmon sammys, or the triple S.

Grilled salmon on toasted multigrain bread wit avacado slices a piece of romaine lettuce, tomato slices, and a cabbage slaw with sour cream, onion, chili powder and cumin.

Delicious!
