It was so intense, that the criticism probably contributed to an early retirement of Don Meredith.”

Asked why Cowboys quarterbacks get such criticism, perhaps more than quarterbacks on other teams, Jones said, “We push a lot on the table with the Cowboys. Picture going to Las Vegas and putting an inordinate amount on the table with every hand. We do that, and I am a part of that. When you do that and you don’t have the right hand, then you subject yourself to a lot more criticism.”

1. The Quincy Carter era.
2. The Parcells bullshit era (just like us!)
3. And now they are somewhere in mediocrity hell.

Matt Cassel was really bad...but Jerry spent a 2nd on Quincy ****ing Carter....like a black Matt Cassel with a coke problem...and no brain.

The SB wins had nothing to do with Johnson's coaching.

It was smart personnel moves.

He's always had good talent and coaching around him.
