When in the New Orleans NBA team change their team name to the Pelicans?
 

I don't want a whole lot of NBA...at least until the conf finals and the finals series.

I was looking down on the ESPN tracker and I see something about the New Orleans Pelicans?

The Pelicans? who's the dumbass that decided on that name?
Not only is it a bird's name and in a similar region it also took the colors from the ATL Hawks.
