Then why the hell is this threadworthy? Am I missing something?

Letterman is dumb as a ****ing rock, literally, and this has absolutely nothing to do with his marriage.

I like Letterman, I'm just surprised at his choice for a wife.

I just think he could have gotten someone way hotter.

He is an embarrassment when he attempts to engage in any type of discourse that's the slightest bit intellectual. Listening to him try to talk politics, for example, is physically painful for me.

This clouds my view of the rest of his schtick or him as a person.

To be quite honest, I haven't watched him regularly in 20 years. I see his show occasionally but I've usually got something better to do than watch him at 11:35pm (and it's not watching Leno. I think he sucks ass).

I'm kinda looking forward to seeing Conan at a decent hour. He was on at 12:35am and while I loved his show and humor, it wasn't worth going to bed at 1:20 just to stay up and watch him.

Is that jonathon taylor thomas?

I'm looking forward to Conan, too. It's time for a fresh voice in that slot.

Reminds me of a couple of things:

1. Club lighting. And the cruel joke owners play when switching on the full lights at closing time.

2. The image of the princess and the old hag that's supposed to represent the effects of beer goggles.
