Buying Low
Anyone trying to make trades for players which are buy low right now?
I proposed Donald Brown for Wes Welker since the team with Welker is 0-2 and had nothing for RB's. Ryan Williams, Hillis, Every Washington back EXCEPT Morris. At least Brown is a starting RB. |
Got this trade to go through. Donald Brown straight-up for Welker. I'm kind of weak at RB now though, with just Cedric Benson backing up Ray Rice and Darren Sproles in a 14-team .5 PPR league with return yards counting as well.
Good trade? Bad trade? Roster is now: QB: Matt Ryan WR: Percy Harvin ( currently #1 ranked WR in this league due to scoring ) WR: Antonio Brown ( #32 - but the TDs have to start happening I would think ) RB: Ray Rice (#5 RB) RB: Darren Sproles (#4 RB) TE: Gresham ( #28 TE - about to pull the plug on him ) Q/W/T/R: Matt Schaub K: Jason Hanson DEF: Seattle B: Christian Ponder (QB) B: Wes Welker (WR) B: Kenny Britt (WR) B: Cedric Benson (RB) B: Kyle Rudolph (TE) B: Kellen Winslow (TE) |

Welker is a mystery this year. On one hand, the Hernandez injury should get him more targets. On the other, Welker was franchised this year and couldn’t agree on a deal, and they appear to have a replacement ready. Perhaps BB is pulling a Pioli move with Welker.
|
Yeah, it's really hard to read where it is going for Welker, especially with BB running the press conferences.
|
I read on CBS that Welker may be moved before the trade deadline.
Wondering, if that might be true where he might wind up. |
Yeah, not sure about any possible forthcoming trade, but I certainly feel good about this trade now. Not that Donald Brown was a slouch this week, but next week I can sub Welker in for Antonio Brown and feel fairly confident.
