I had never seen or heard of Barrett-Jackson before this year.....but I have loved watching this over the past few days. There are some pretty nice cars being sold..

I was chuckling about the old Kansas Highway Patrol car they sold.

Are you serious?

They have auctions all over the country but their Scottsdale in January is the biggest.

They always have some cool '70 Cuda's and other muscle cars.

I'd like to hear from someone that's actually been there.

Driving or sitting?

this was during the eighties. she used to work in the film industry and it was inside an industry storage place in burbank while they were retrieving a bunch of props for some film and the guy let her drive it outside to get it out the way. I just happened to be there and shot some pics. case of a hot woman getting her way :D

Wow. The blue one is just an outstanding piece of functional art.

ive got a buddy that builds awesome cars.

he built a morrison chassis 57 that sold not too long ago at the mecum auction in KC for almost 80. and it had about 160 in it. the old man died and his wife sold everything short.

he also built a #s matching every part original to the car 70 hemi cuda that the guy had over 600K in.

it was pretty cool, you get to see some cars you will never be able to afford lol

600K for a Barracuda?

They seem to usually go for about 200K when the market is hot for em.

Post a picture of it if you have it.

Sweet Daddy Hate 01-18-2013 02:59 PM

That would be so awesome to own.

The one they're selling is the original prototype that George Barris still owns.

I expect him to be on stage with it when it gets sold.

I just saw a "Judge" Pontiac GTO go for 95K

I'd much rather have the one from the Burton Batman movie. That's the best one of the bunch, IMO. I despised the TV show.

NO...I said it just so people would make fun of me.:rolleyes:

The job I got about 18 months ago has me more interested in all aspects of car restoration. I find myself watching alot of the shows on The Speed Channel on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Psyko Tek 01-18-2013 08:18 PM
