9 In The Box Still = Run I guess?
 

Nice play calling there..opening drive of the 2nd half..even with agift of 15 yards and we run into 9 man fronts. :banghead:

the play-calling has been odd this game. Apparently the only thing we can do is run or throw bombs.

Maybe we could mix in some short and mid-range passes. :shrug:

Same opening drive on the 3rd...3rd down receiver wide open over the middle....but we throw short

I just think its the gameplan as a whole. They want to control the clock and keep the high powered Rams offense off the field as much as possible. Plus they know the Rams have one of the worst run D's in the league.

Well you have to get 1st downs to do that. Call me crazy.

We are looking to blow this game cause we are obsessed with going 3 and out.

Its pretty obvious they dont trust the makeshift O-line and Huard with some of the conservative play calls on 3rd down....

So then we just go into a shell? It seemed to do fine in the first half.

This actually looks alot like the same gameplan. The only reason we got ahead in the 1st half is because of the turnovers and short field to work with.

And we threw some passes down the filed

Yes, they had some questionable play calls there in the 3rd....but its pretty hard to argue with an offense that scores 30 points (so far) on the road...
