AAAHAHAHAAAAAA

Fake punt rams, wide open.

Baby Lee 11-11-2012 04:49 PM

ROFL ROFL ROFL

The guy trying for the block left the receiver completely uncovered.

Fisher would never hear the end of it if that didn't work.

Especially at the end of the half. That call makes no sense on ANY level.

Wow Rams run a fake punt pass from their own end zone.

No way. Jeff Fisher never takes any risks. He's a more conservative Marty.

He threw for a TD on a fake FG earlier this season.

I don't even consider it a risk... it's just stupidity IMO.

There's no way the Rams could benefit from it. Better to save something like that for later in the game when you can use it.

There's no way they were going to score with 40 seconds left in the half from their own 20 yard line. So why fake it there?

Fisher out coaching Harbaugh. I'm sorry but the Fisher haters on here were wrong.

If you watched, it may have been an adjustment call. The guy going for a block came WAAAAY inside leaving the receiver completely uncovered. Possible that if the blocker stayed with the receiver the punt goes off as usual.

TO keep the ball out of 9er O hands for rest of half.

Growing pains from a rookie punter FTW.

The 49ers had a backup QB running their offense. They weren't going to take chances with 40 seconds left and no time outs.

I don't know, I'm just messing with you. Somewhere Fisher got this reputation that he's a worse version of Marty. He certainly likes physical football, no doubt... but he's always been willing to take some risks. He used to throw the kitchen sink at the Colts on a yearly basis... onside kicks, fake punts, trick plays, etc. The guy once won a playoff game with a KR lateral. He's not a gunslinger but I don't think his reputation as a more scared conservative Marty is accurate either.

Oh...didn't see that part. If so, then cool. But yeah, if that's the case, then Laz is right. Fisher probably had a heart attack LMAO

BTW... Stafford will never be a superbowl winning QB. Yeah he has a nice arm, but he still has the fundamentals of a freshman QB.
