Do you think Jacoby Jones deserved SB MVP over Flacco???

I think so. That kick return was awesome, and was the difference in the ball game. Flacco played great and had great numbers etc and I know QB is the most important position etc...but in all fairness the QB position almost always gets the award because of the position.

No.

BoneKrusher 02-04-2013 07:21 AM

Jacoby had an awesome game but Flacco gets my vote for MVP.

Deberg_1990 02-04-2013 07:28 AM

Maybe throw Boldin into the mix too. He made some outstanding important catches. He can play for my team any day.

Ace Gunner 02-04-2013 08:02 AM

Flacco is the man

suds79 02-04-2013 08:04 AM

Is this a serious thread??

The TD came in the 3rd qtr putting them up 28 to 6. Not like it was the go ahead score.

Flacco was money all game long. And with little running game to boot.

KC_Connection 02-04-2013 08:07 AM

Flacco dominated the game. No.

Not only did that return have a huge impact on the 2nd half but he ****ing broke the all-purpose yards record in a Super Bowl with 289.

Yes. He deserved it...

Joe Flacco deserves MVP for the post season and Super Bowl. I think 11 TDs to 0 ints. That's Joe Montanya territory.

Rasputin 02-04-2013 08:15 AM

Speaking of Joe Montana, the best commercial imo was the ketchup on jersy that looked like Joe Montana. It was freaking funny until his wife washed it in "Tide". I'd get a divorce.

It was also timed perfectly with the SF comeback.

I thought "if he finishes this and makes the biggest comeback in SB history it's fitting..."

he's going to get mega paid, his record since being drafted is pretty much incredible

Quote:

Since 2008, no quarterback has won as many regular-season and postseason games as Flacco, who has won 63. Flacco is the first quarterback in NFL history to win a playoff game in each of his first five seasons, and his nine postseason victories are tied with Brady for the most ever by a quarterback in his first five seasons.

And Flacco was money during these playoffs, throwing for 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Joe Montana is the only other quarterback with those kinds of numbers, and he did it in 1989 en route to winning Super Bowl MVP for San Francisco.

No. Flacco was the MVP

I probably would have voted Jones, but have no issues at all with the Flacco choice.
