He runs the ball 20 times a game at Florida. He'll be lucky to have any legs under him by the time his college career is over. He's not a pro-style QB at all. He runs a variation of the spread that has no place in the NFL. Same reason (not to mention their size) Todd Reesing and Chase Daniel will never be NFL starters.

I agree Brodie isn't the answer long term, but Tim Tebow certainly isn't, either.

We'll HAVE to get a franchise QB if he's there.

Numbers are almost identical. The win percentage is the only thing separating the two. But Stafford is surrounded by far and away better talent.

I suppose Stafford is the hot pick now..considering the abismal state of the QB class of 2009. I guess if we have to pick a turd, it might as well be the prettiest in the toilet bowl.
