St. Louis is a odd NFL city to say the least.

The Checkerdome was a piece of crap. St. Louis actually has nice facilities for football, baseball and basketball/hockey. All their venues are pretty new. Their stupid lease agreement with the Rams is the only reason the dome is in question right now. There's nothing wrong with that building whatsoever.

If they ask for state money to help build a new stadium, every KCMO based company should try to defeat it.

St. Louis-based Enterprise Rental Car trying to stop the funding of the Sprint Center construction should not be forgotten.

Its definately one of the most sterile and personality free of any NFL stadium ive ever been to. The parking sucks too, but i guess most people use the light rail and walk.

Not really. Earth City is unincorporated St. Louis County, I believe. It's also not that big to begin with. It's ridiculous that the stadium issue is at this point because the city gave the Rams an out clause as well as the Dome not being that old.
