If we look at the league stats, the Royals are 2nd in the AL in ERA at 2.77. This is almost a full run below Detroit. Obviously it's early but so far we look a lot like our team last season. If we can pitch like we did in 2013 we have a shot at the wild card. Depending on what Detroit does with injuries, maybe the division if we can get to the mid to upper 80s in wins.

Said it before- his emotions and that he often takes a couple batters to find his grove is my worry. Not what you want coming in already in a jam.

Chen on the other hand never gets phased by situational pressure and his numbers with RISP are magnificent.

I say that as a HUGE Duffy supporter. A favorite of mine and I root for him more than probably any other Royal that he finds long term tremendous success.
