Wow,I really didn't think they would cut Dishman.
|
Okay,
NOw that Shay is officially cut, what does he do now? XFL Other team Europe again Practice Squad??????????? Pam |
McDonalds?
|
Haha G-man,
I was asking a serious question. Shay always has the option to go back to college to finish his degree if he doesn't make it in football. I was asking if other teams might like him? |
Pam - I would be suprised, I don't think anyone is looking at him right now.
|
If he wants to play, Europe or maybe XFL. I don't think the Chiefs will put him on practice squad.
|
I gotta disagree, NO SURPRISES at all.
Heck Shaw was a Given, considering he played very little this preseason, Only White was a slight surprise, considering they had an exemption. But glad to see him go |
JOhn - IMO, Dishman and Dar Dar were 2 that could have easily made the squad. The rest is pretty much what I predicted.
|
Dishman cut his own throat....
#1 to many penilties #2 Burned bad, repeatedly in preseason #3 after those 2, Nothing to save him from the "youth" movment. Dar Dar, not really, He was a small reciever, and Gun is on record wanting BIG recievers. Might try and keep im on PS again, but I doubt it |
IMHO,The Chiefs should have KEPT Dishman and CUT Carlton Gray. Warfield could start and Dish is a better nickle than Gray. Maybe Gray's salary had something to do with it. Let the rebuilding begin!
|
JOhn - They had said that they hoped that Dar Dar would not catch on with any other team so they could get him this year. He might be small, but the boy made some really good plays to get in the endzone.
|
Tx,
This pains me to say, but Gray looked alot better than Dish did in preseason. Besides which Dishman has cost us dearly in penilties, and GUN HATES that. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif |
Jeff,
I'm not nessacrly saying I agree with gun, heck I liked Dar Dar, but with his penchant for Big WR's it wasn't really surprising is all. |
JOhn - The fact that we are down to 4 WR and DarDar looked to be a playmaker is what suprised me. Plus the fact that Parker looked like he hurt himself in the last game, means that our 4 wr set could be dead.
