Yeah when I saw the trailer for this on tv I wanted to see it. I'll wait for video, but it looks like good entertainment. Even if it has some stupid shit in there that doesn't make sense or isn't realistic, I'm not gonna pick it apart too much.

It was a good action movie. There were plot holes. But good action none the less.

Rented this last night. It sucked out loud.

Messages this movie preaches:
The president's life is more important than any national security concern.
The US government is totally not corrupt and anyone who says it is must be a terrorist.

The entire beginning of the movie was a plot hole. That movie should have been 5 minutes. Plane gets within 5 miles of the air space over the White House and gets taken down immediately.

If this is what you came away with you are thinking too hard.

The movie is about stabbin dudes in the head.

it was okay, but it did bug me when Pres was willing to give up launch codes in exchange for 1 life. Nonsense.

This is not a movie to watch if you're striving towards realism, and it doesn't have a single new idea in it, but it was a good (not great) action flick. Its high point was the extended initial siege scene. White House Down was no more realistic, but more fun, so it's the better pick.

Oh, and if there has ever been a movie that induces Guilt By Casting more, I don't know what it is. Cases in point:

Olympus was a far better action movie. WHD was silly to the point of stupidity many times.
