Prince has hundreds of songs in rotation across the world every day on terrestrial and satellite radio. His performance royalties have to exceed $10 million per year, easily.

He sat on the board at Warner Brothers, has sold tens of millions of albums and singles and if he had to, could easily put together a North American club and small venue tour and earn another $10 million.

I can understand that it's possible that whoever is handling his business is screwing up but broke? That seems implausible.

I remember Weird Al saying that he was going to sit with Prince at the MTV music awards and prince's people gave him a list of things you don't to prince like "Make small talk, and eye contact"

He's sold over 100 million records and has written countless hit songs for a shit ton of artists.

I've never owned any of his music and I'm not a "fan", per se, but there's no denying the guy's ridiculously talented and a prolific songwriter.

I saw him close the show at a VH1 Honor's concert at the Gibson Amphitheater a few years back and he freaking blew me away.
