Best Sci-Fi Movies of the last 5 Years
 

So 2008-2012 only...I'm trying to find some that I haven't seen.

The best for me are District 9, Star Trek, and...I can't even think of a third film worthy of getting my top nod.

Sci-FI is pretty broad. Do you mean purely space set Sci-Fi? Techincally we could classify flicks like Inception as Sci-Fi.

I was going to chip in with Moon.

If Moon is top ten, well then it hasn't been a good decade for sci fi.

Maybe Source Code, if you can consider it Sci Fi.

Good one. Like I said, Sci-Fi doesn’t have to mean "set in space" or with spaceships and aliens.

Having said that, I think we have to put Avatar and Prometheus on this list somewhere? Flame away.......

Children of Men came out in 2006. Too far back?

How about The Road? Post-apocalyptic ... is that sci-fi enough?
