Good Bye Michael Scott, You Will Be Missed

Great final episode for the "World's Greatest Boss." Won't be the same w/o him.

The final episode should have been the season finale of season 3 (with Michael promoted instead of Ryan).

Interesting take, but there's been a lot of good moments since then. To each his own.

You've got the fever and the only prescription is more JON BALDWIN.

Looks like I came to the right place.

The show lost its magic when the original writers fled to Parks and Recreation.

Still, Seasons 2 and 3 contain some of the most hilarious shows I've seen on a television series.

Did this really happen?

That must explain why Parks and Rec is actually funny now.

Looks like the season is going to finish up with some heavy hitters coming in for guest appearances: Ricky Gervais, Ray Romano,James Spader,Will Arnett, Will Ferrell, and Jim Carey. Nice.

Michael Schur's departure to Parks and Rec was probably the biggest causality for The Office, this idea is underlined when looking at the episodes he wrote before he jumped shows.

The Office
"The Alliance" (April 12, 2005) - Season 1
"Office Olympics" (October 4, 2005) - Season 2
"Christmas Party" (December 6, 2005) - Season 2
"Valentine's Day" (February 9, 2006) - Season 2
"Branch Closing" (November 9, 2006) - Season 3
"Traveling Salesmen" co-written with Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (January 11, 2007) - Season 3
"The Return" co-written with Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (January 18, 2007) - Season 3
"The Negotiation" (April 5, 2007) - Season 3
"The Job" co-written with Paul Lieberstein (May 17, 2007) - Season 3
"Dunder Mifflin Infinity" (October 4, 2007) - Season 4

"The Return" is easily my favorite Office Episode, while Traveling Salesmen, Valentine's Day, Branch Closing, and The Negotiation are among my favorites as well.

I believe he is now a regular contributor on Parks and Rec.

I like the show, and am glad to see the Michael Scott character leaving. Shows that don't center on Michael Scott's love life are great. Shows that feature Michael Scott's love life make me change the channel.

Chiefspants speaks the truth. P&R has been significantly better than The Office (and just about everything else) for two seasons now.

The beauty of DVR is that my thursday night comedy cycle can end with Archer, Community and then P&R, the three funniest shows I'm watching right now.
