Things have been straight up painful lately. I hate this, "get off to a decent start of the season, then begin pissing down your leg for an extensive period of time" thing that they seem to do frequently.

Lol yeah, well we had to sift through some shit moments to get there. I did think about how spoiled of a brat I sounded like after posting that because of the WS.... the Cards have obviously been fun to root for these past few years, but have also been very frustrating at times. You are right though...can't take last year's awesome WS for granted...

Kinda nice when you are watching your team stink up the field to be reminded that your team just went to 3 world series in 7 years with 2 world championships. Thanks for the reminder. :thumb:

Yep. They're ****ing horrendous right now. Stinks just like '07.

At least they were thoughtful enough to win a championship last year. But much like last time, it sure would be nice if they even pretended like they cared about defending it.

They also stunk it up pretty bad for long periods of time last season. 40K in the stands on a Tuesday night watching the team play like dog shit tells me that the lessons learned from last season that its a long season and if you get hot at the end, good things happen.
