I also think it sets a tough precedent. What happens 15 picks or two rounds from now from now when someone times out? Where is the line drawn?

As an explanation, we're still learning how to manage this, and I see a problem.

If a team misses a high draft pick, they get kinda screwed. I don't really care from a player's standpoint if they screw themselves, but it's bad from a league standpoint because it can lead to some teams being really weak. We kind of had the problem in the initial draft and partially overrode it manually.

We're going to build in an override at some point that will just award the team the highest NFL draft pick still available. I figured I could manually implement it if need be at this point, but we just got a system for me to override a team last night, and there seems to be a problem. I wasn't expecting to have to use it on a top-five pick, which was happening in both leagues, but those teams really need to receive those picks from a league equity standpoint. We can restart once I can get the override system fixed.

Again, sorry for the false start.

The blame is with me and I really can't tell you how sorry I am. Obviously I didn't do enough testing. I'll straighten this out over the weekend. Again my apologies.

We had some technical malfunctions and are restarting Monday. The draft will stretch over several days. You can use the draftboard and autopick features to pre-select your draft picks. If you are a complete no show, you'll get the next available player selected in the real NFL draft.

I am now shopping my first round pick and/or second round pick for a C and/or RT.
