Screen protector issue with phones

I just got an upgrade for my phone and got a screen protector for it. Droid Razr HD...why does the screen look all glittery with it on? Anyone else notice that? My sister has one too and hers looks that way too. I never used one on my past smartphones but thought why not this time

Ditch the screen protector and just carry it in a pocket with nothing else that could scratch it like your keys.

I hate them.

Don't get the point anymore. Just get a quality phone with gorilla glass

Otterbox Defender, it has a screen protector built into the case.

Don't use them. I have the S3. The screen seems to be pretty scratch-proof.

The Droid Razr HD has Gorilla Glass, I wouldn't bother with a protector.

What you're seeing is pretty much just the way screen protectors work from what I've seen. Higher end ones seem to do it less than crappy ones, but they all do it.

As others have suggested, I think it's better just to be mildly careful and do without.
