When I was young and single I met this fat chick in a bar, every shot I took she lost 25 lbs....

I contemplated chewing my arm off at the shoulder the next morning to keep from waking the beast.

It's going down today. I need to buy some Gatorade for before bed preparation.

A buddy of mine turned me on to this. Best shooting tequilla I've tasted, especially straight out of the freezer. Makes Patron taste like caca...

I went out and ate too much sushi and some of those Japanese beers , came home, layed down on the bed beside wife and boom I was out, 3 hours later woke up a little dehydrated , drank some water, went back to bed and woke up at 630 feeling great.

It gets some pretty good reviews and I have seen it in my local Hy-Vee liquor store for around $50. I just may have to pull the trigger.

Heh, one or all three would look good out in the man cave.

Nope lol.

This family is loaded.

We drank more than they drank at the Coors wedding that was just prior to this one. At least that's what the caterers , puck's company, told me the next day.

Hornitos Reposado by Sauza is my favorite right now. I had Jose Tradicional Reposado last weekend and was pleasantly surprised for the price.

Have the night off so I got a bottle of this... Although it tastes good, it is not as good to me as the El Jimero

Cuervo makes shitty tequila. Never had a Cuervo product I truly liked. Some of them are drinkable but that doesn't make them good.

I'm not rich, but there are plenty of good tequilas under $30. Cuervo isn't one of one.

Yes, like I said. They make some drinkable products. They don't make anything I would consider good though.

mdchiefsfan 02-08-2013 05:44 AM

Just got my taxes back. Think I am going to pick up some Patron Silver and give that a whirl. That or Cabo Wabo.

ChiefRocka 02-08-2013 08:46 AM

8 shots of tequilla, one limeaid can, one blender, two glasses

Patron Anjeo, or Don Julio Anejo is excellent.

I'm a fan of Reposados though.

Don Eduardo is good stuff too.

I think those are all much better than Patron Silver IMO
Cabo is good stuff as well.

Gran Patron is unbelievable, but It'll set you back about $200+ lol
stuff is dangerous it's so smooth.

CHENZ A! 02-08-2013 01:13 PM

As some have mentioned, Cazadores Reposado is an excellent choice.

CHENZ A! 02-08-2013 01:16 PM

Room temp, by the way. Even with Patron. A slice of lime is acceptable. Tequila and lime taste delicious together.

NZoner will vouch for that.

Actually I agree with the liquor store guy. Using expensive tequila in margaritas is a waste to me. Not saying to use Montezuma or McCormick or anything, but the top shelf should be for shooting or sipping. Same goes for good whiskey, keep the mixers away. Definitely to each their own though.

Tequila neat, i a small cordial snifter is the way to go. swirl around like wine, big deep sniff and sip; ....out on the deck, with a cigar.
mmmmmmm

as others said, premo tequila should be sipped. with no lime or salt IMO.

To clarify, Patron Silver, or something similar, is what I use in my margs. The stuff I sip on (i.e. Don Julio 1942 or equivalent), I would never waste in a marg.

Get some Reposodo or Anejo then slice up an orange and put some
cinnamon on a saucer. Take a sip or even a shot and then dip the orange in the cinnamon and bite. Mmmmm....
