NFL loves that kind of chit...bet you are right. LMAO

Great Expectations 01-04-2013 12:28 PM

That would definitely be scheduled for Prime Time.

Tytanium 01-04-2013 12:58 PM

How many years in a row now have we played both Buffalo and Indianapolis in the regular season?

FloridaMan88 01-04-2013 01:00 PM

Start of NFL regular season will probably be Sunday, September 8th (Thursday night kickoff game on September 5th).

Royals have a home game scheduled on that Sunday, so a road opener is likely.

Something tells me market size has nothing to do with this....

Isn't there usually an AFC West game during the Week 1 MNF doubleheader? I feel like there could be some excitement around a potential Andy Reid & Geno Smith (or whoever the #1 pick is) vs. John Fox & Peyton Manning showdown in Arrowhead... Probably wishful thinking, but that'd be awesome IMO.

Mama Hip Rockets 01-04-2013 01:18 PM

Man, that away schedule looks remarkably easy right now.

KCKID58 01-04-2013 01:20 PM

We play Washington and Philly in Arrowhead in 2013

2-14 @ 4-12

I suppose it could happen considering the love for the NFC East in Prime Time.

Yeah, if the NFL knows what they're doing, they'll put Chiefs vs. Eagles in prime time. Probably an early season Thursday nighter.

Bearcat 01-04-2013 01:32 PM

Can home/away be predetermined? I've seen the sites that always show the future home/away games, but haven't ever looked into it.... I'd think the only way it could be predetermined is if it went home/away/home/away (or whatever pattern) for the select NFC and AFC division teams, but I don't think it does.

If it's not predetermined somehow, I'm sure it'll be in Philly... just adds to the storyline.

Andy better hope its not in December or they'll pelt him with snowballs

I know it's not, but it seems like we play both of them EVERY year and it's almost like having two extra teams in the division.
