I despised Black Ops as well but after they fixed the connection issues it was at least playable.... Well, it's playable if you get lucky enough to get put into a lobby that isn't filled with a bunch of ****ing Ghost assholes.

DUDE! Awesome link with a shit-ton of good info. Glad that they really did split Ghost up into two categories but it sucks that they are in different slots so people can be completely invisible from everything.

Right now my favorite perk setup would be Quick Draw (faster aiming/recover from throwing grenades faster) Sleight of Hand (faster reload, faster weapon swap) and Sit Rep (detect enemy equipment and louder enemy footsteps)

I just prey that Sit Rep Pro is a lot easier to get in this game than it was in MW2. The only way I could get the Pro version of Sit Rep would be to find a guy who was using Scavenger with claymores then I would destroy his claymores and walk right up to the dude and let him kill me so he could get another claymore to put down. LMAO You had to destroy 120 ****ing claymores to get the Pro version in MW2.

Hardline Pro looks pretty good in this game too because now every two assists count as a kill towards your killstreak.

Shit so does Blast Shield Pro, it's like Flak Jacket and Tactical Mask put together.... Might have to change Quick Draw out for Blast Shield Pro.

They brought back the Overkill perk and that allowed you to have two primary weapons in COD4 so I guess you can have your shotgun secondary if you want.

I'm curious to see how many people will play as specialists.

And I can't believe they showcased quickscoping on the trailer like that.

Really can't stand that one of the Ghost perks gives Ghost assholes immunity to Counter UAV and EMP. The only reason I use Counter UAV on nearly every map in Black Ops is so I can take away the radar from Ghost one who sucks the peniss. They really need to bring back Stopping Power so half the lobby doesn't wear that bullshit Ghost perk in core.

What is wrong with Stopping Power? In COD4 and World at War half the lobby would wear Stopping Power and the other half would use Jugg. In MW2 you had a shitload of people running around with Marathon/Lightweight/Commando and everybody else was using Stopping Power or Danger Close.

If you take away both Juggernaut and Stopping Power what you get is everybody playing like a bitch with Ghost.

I normally see 1...maybe 2 people using ghost. I get a lot of chopper gunners and I usually can see the whole opposing team.

Half of the people that kill me while wearing Ghost don't have Ghost Pro.

I play predominantly 6 vs 6 TDM and normally there are 3 people on my team and 3 people on the other team wearing Ghost so half the freaking lobby is wearing it. It just becomes a slow-paced camp fest on most maps.

It does get ridiculous.. I think there should be a 30-60 sec timer on picking up ammo for them while you are alive.. That way scavenger still allows you something if you stay alive that long..

Yeah guns in Black Ops sound like toys. The sound in general in Black Ops is garbage. The first two months after release you could hear ZERO footsteps from anybody. And now, you still can barely hear footsteps.

IW has EXCELLENT sound though, if you didn't have Dead Silence on in COD4 and if you were within 50 feet of me I knew EXACTLY where you were. In BLOPS they have rockets launching, trains going by, and Blackbirds sitting there idle making so much noise that I can't hear shit, and even if the entire map is silent I still can't hear you until you are in shotgun range.

And that's when i kill you.

Yeah. Just sounds like, grab a flash and then go hide in a corner type of game. I won't be playing.

People are just going to camp for killstreaks in Kill Confirmed. All people will do is let one of their teammates die right in front of them and then they will camp the shit out of the dogtag he dropped.

If you plan on buying all the DLC I would buy the Hardened Edition for 99.99 because you get all of the DLC early and you will save 20 bucks.

If you buy all the map packs anyways you would be stupid not to buy the Hardened Edition.

Wait, they are selling the game and new map packs at the same time? I'm assuming it still comes with the 6 or so that you usually get.....so you are talking about additional maps to the ones that are normally on the games?

No. The Hardened Edition comes with a full year subscription to COD Elite premium service and if you are an elite member all of the map packs are free. Part of the COD Elite premium service is access to DLC early. They said that every month COD Elite premium members would get one or two DLC maps free. Normally the first map pack comes out in like March but if you have COD Elite you would already have had those maps for two months and would already be playing some of the maps from the next map pack.

Ok. That makes more sense. I thought they were releasing the game and then making you pay for the maps on top of that....which would piss me off.

Kill streaks won't be that helpful in kill confirmed. Even if you get air support and it kills 10 people, you won't be able to get most of the dog tags because the kills will be all around the map.

I see kill confirmed as a strictly gun on gun game. If you don't have a good 1 on 1 game, you'll cost your team dearly.

Ideally Kill Confirmed would be a nice gun on gun game, but there are plenty of assholes who play Domination and never go anywhere near a flag. Most of the people who play COD would much rather go 35-0 and lose than 35-20 and win.

I love domination. I'm willing to die 30 times if it means I get the win. I almost never have teammates as aggressive as I am so there are tons of matches I have 20+ deaths. But I don't know, I still prefer domination to TDM

The more I think about it, the more I think that I shouldn't even buy this game. I ****ing HATE Ghost and it is going to be 10 times worse in MW3. The only reason I ran Counter UAV in almost every game in BLOPS is so I could take away Ghost pillowbitergots radar, and now the MW3 version of Ghost makes you immune to Counter UAV and EMP.
