It's a change I needed to make, as I was a slave to timing and footwork. Now, if I get through the ball correctly I'm hitting it about a groove higher on the clubface than in the past, pointing to the increased compression you alluded to.

Yeah, I hate hitting a hook. Which is something I do like about the golfing machine in that it essentially takes the left side out of play, which is something I'm really working hard on now.
You can't play when you have a double miss going.
Good to hear that you are hitting it better. It's a constant battle. If I remember I'll PM you some stuff my buddy used when going thru a similar change. |
