On offense, about what I expected

About 300 yards, not many pass attempts. The reason the game was close is that the D stunk up the joint in the 1st half, but more importantly Oakland didn't make any mistakes until their final play.

We thought we could win easily with a conservative game-plan. Usually, it will against Oakland. Almost didn't this time.

We'll have to open it up a little more on Thursday...

Apparently everyone is going with an ultra-conservative game plan against the Raiders, banking on the fact that the Raiders can't score. The problem is that we've been going with an ultra-conservative offense anyway, so it took some imagination to make it even more conservative. I'm surprised that they weren't just going with kneeldowns all game.

Thats a good assesment of the game. I think Herm and company felt they could go in with a vanilla offense and still win, and he was right.

Only reason Faders stayed in the game was because of a few nice plays to elude the rush from Brooks.

People forget too, that it wouldnt have come down to the wire if Tynes had hit the easy 35 yarder. That guys pisses me off sometimes. Hits the hard ones, misses the easy ones???
